Rochester Youth Cheerleading Association (RYCA) has been a part of youth football for over 25 years. RYCA was founded with the belief that cheerleading is a sport that requires coaching and conditioning like any other.
In addition, youth gain pride and confidence by participating. RYCA prides itself in promoting and teaching good sportsmanship. We believe these lessons prepare participants for a lifetime of positive sporting experiences. This year RYCA has youth in grades 2-8 participating in the program.
Along with the youth, many coaches volunteer their time and expertise. Without
these volunteers RYCA would cease to function. Coaches are also required to
take a "Stunting Safety" test to further their knowledge in safety and stunting.
This year promises to be another great one for
RYCA. Thanks to everyone for
