College Scholarships

Rochester Youth Cheerleading Association will award college scholarships
to be applied toward the academic goals of eligible senior female students
who meet the criteria requirements listed below. Up to six (6) $500
scholarships may be awarded.

• Previous participant of RYCA and has participated in a Varsity sport, including cheerleading or dance line, during the 11th or 12th grade. LIST the number of years you participated and name(s) of the RYCA coaches for each year
  OR
  Participated in cheerleading during the 11th or 12th grade, but is not a previous participant of Rochester Youth Cheerleading Association
• Letter of recommendation by a coach from a sport participated in during 11th or 12th grade
• Essay on "How has participating in sports made an impact on your life
  and how will it influence you in the future?".
• Has a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Application and required documents must be submitted to
applicant's High School Guidance office by April 1st.
